Hybrid 3 Wheeler- Efficycle 2017

Efficycle is a competition organised by SAE India. We have to design a three wheeled hybrid vehicle. It is both human and electrical powered. It can accommodate 2 persons, either of them can pedal or use the throttle. It is powered by a 350W 48V BLDC motor and is capapble of reaching speed of 45 kmph.

 This was the second  time our college team was participating in the competition, for this iteration of the vehicle many optimization were done. The weight was reduced by 30% and the top speed was increased by 23%. 

  • Runner Up in Gradeability test.

  • Second Runner up in Acceleration.
