This was my the first attempt at Efficycle.For the competition the team had to build a three wheeled electric vehicle with both human and electric power. I was the driver and responsible for the transmission design and implementation. Transmission was among the most intricate and important part of the project. Various iterations of gear ratios were tested and the best and most efficient was used. The seating was of recumbent type to provide maximum comfort to the driver. For a first timer the team did great and was applauded by the judges.
